Ash Jelly by Frost-indri Ash Jelly by Frost-indri
Cone 10. Ash over ice blue in gas kiln.

This is what I just spent today on. Well, a good portion of it anyhow. At least I can watch things while doing tentacles. I need more documentaries about the ocean...

The bell was thrown on a wheel out of porcelain, trimmed and hand detailed. The glaze is one that is reactive to using strait wood ash, so I layered it with glaze and wood ash.

Thanks. :) I'm making more now, but I've not been getting the opportunity to really get photographs of them. :/ They're going to a gallery in Astoria, Oregon. :)
