Porciline, raku fired, cone 06
A Jelly abstraction.
I need to make tendrils for it, long tenticles of doooooom. Doom because getting them through the raku process is going to be nigh impossible. -_-' That and hanging them... o_O
Anyhow, this is when I found out the fun aspect of porciline in that if you tap the edge of a just thrown bowl, the entire bowl jiggles like jello. Fun! Just doesn't pull nearly as nicely as raku clay... to delecate. Oh, well.

Agh I remember using raku in my high school sculpture class. It was difficult!
One of my friends made a squid and its tendrils shattered during the firing process.
Maybe that's cuz we our school was poor and we used metal trash cans with paper shreds lit on fire for kilns. Something for the glaze that we used.
Anyhoo, this is awesome! I hope the tentacles come out okay!
