I've spent the last week immersed in the Iranian election. Iran has been a long time interest for me, to the point where I've tried to learn farsi. (Kinda' wandered off that path a year ago when I moved and lost access to our tutor. )

That the Iranians rose up in protest in such a blatantly and clumsily fixed election didn't surprise me. With the arrogance of the fixing, the crack down on the protesters didn't surprise me. What surprised me was Khomani telling the protesters to F*** off (though in much politer terms.) If I can tell where this train is going, surely he, a very intelligent and previously savvy player, could tell as well. Was he really that trapped by his previously declaring the official numbers a "miracle?" How foolish that was.

I wonder how this will end. I stand in support of those who protest, those who insist on their voices being heard. I want to support them any way I can, so I spend hours working on a drawing. It seems so weak when people are dying. I am propagating the videos coming out of Iran, to help their voices echo around the world, but it is so passive, so safe here. It is all I can do, but I wish I could do more.

ok. I set up a Cafe Press shop. This is the first design, but due to it being completely white it doesn't show up on a white t-shirt. If you go to [link] it'll be the first design. It looks blank. Go to your shirt preference and choose the darker green one, and it shows up great.

I know what you mean, I have been checking the news so many times everyday... I am fascinated by what's going on. I've started trying to learn how to write Farsi too, something I dropped because of exams :p
